Shiyao Investment Ltd's team

 

 

1.   Dr Benoit Rossignol , Managing Director and founder. 

   Before the creation of Shiyao Investment, Dr Rossignol was 

   an Investment Officer with the World Bank group

   providing long-term financing to private food companies in 

   emerging countries with particular focus on China. Dr. 

   Rossignol has an MBA from the Kellogg Business 

      School (Chicago, USA), a Master in Food 

      Economics   from the University of Tokyo (Japan) and 

      a Doctorate  in Veterinary Sciences (France). He   

      speaks  fluent English, French , Japanese and Chinese.

 

 

2.   Miss. Qiu Jin, Director, Shanghai Office. Miss Qiu Jin has 

   been working for 10 years with food companies in Shanghai

   She speaks Mandarin Chinese and Shanghaiese.

 

 

3.   Mrs. Florence Duchamp, Director, Europe Office. Mrs 

   Duchamp has been working for ten years both in the food 

   and plastics sectors, for Cargill and Elf Aquitaine. She 

   speaks fluent English and French as well as conversational 

   German, Spanish and Italian. She has a Master in 

   Biochemistry (France), a Master in Food Economics 

   (Essec, France) and a Diploma of Business Translation 

   from the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce (UK)

 

 

4.  Mr. Gene F Augusterfer, Director, Washington Office.

      Mr. Augusterfer has worked extensively in the U.S. Health

      Care industry where he has conducted clinical work and 

      research. He has directed programs for the U.S. Department

      of  Defense as well as private companies. He brings to Shiyao

       Investment Ltd. his vast experience in motivational coaching.

       personal negotiation, and team building. Gene has a Masters

       degree in Social Science from The Catholic University of 

       America (USA), and further study in Developmental

       Psychology at Harvard University. He speaks English fluently

       and  has a basic knowledge of French.

 

5.  Mr. Noel Hicks, Representative, USA, Sun Valley, Idaho

     Noel is the former Corporate Development Manager of 

     Power Engineers, Inc, an international engineering consulting 

     firm based in the USA, where he was involves on a number of 

     M&A transactions. Previously, Noel was Vice President of 

     Allied Resource Corporation a Venture Capital firm affiliated 

     with Safeguard Scientifics, Inc a firm active in  duediligence, 

     valuations and acquisitions in the USA, Latin America and 

     Canada. Noel, and Austin Scholar, is a graduate of the 

     Kellogg-Northwestern Business School, Chicago where he 

     majored in Finance, Management and International Studies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

6.  Mr. Isamu Nanasawa, Director, Osaka Office, Japan. Mr. 

     Nanasawa has worked for 35 years for Marubeni 

     Corporation including 13 years in TokyoOsaka and 22   

     years in Saigon, Paris, Cairo, Abidjan and Beijing. Within 

     Marubeni Group he successfully set up and managed several 

     joint-ventures around the world, the latest being Beijing 

     Satake Flour Milling Company, a Japanese-Chinese joint 

     venture. Sam is a graduate from Waseda University, Tokyo

     Science and Engineering Department. He is a certified JETRO 

     (Japan External Trade Organization) International Trade 

     Advisor. Mr. Nanasawa speaks fluent English and Japanese 

     as well as conversational French and Mandarin Chinese.

 

7.  David Qiu, Chief Representative for Northeast China

     Harbin. David is the former North-East China Marketing 

     Manager of John Deere China were he has been actively 

     involved in the establishment of the first and second 

     joint-venture of the company in Jialian (Heilongjiang Province

     and Tianjin. Previously, David was with Nike, again as 

     Marketing Director for the North-East region and with the 

     Chinese Government, as Section Chief of the Harbin Taxation 

     Bureau. David is a graduate of the Northeast University of 

     Finance and Economics, Dalian. He speaks fluent Mandarin 

     and English.

 

8.  Sarangua Davaadorj, Senior Advisor for Mongolia

     Sarangua is a lawyer, graduate from Moscow University Law 

     faculty and the Harvard Law School. She has extensive 

     experience in legal aspects of investment projects in Mongolia

     She is also often involved in providing legal guidance to 

     projects financed by International Financial. Institutions like 

     the World Bank or the Asian Development Bank in Asia

     Sarangua is based in Washington, DC. She speaks fluent
